EMMA LEVINE

(SHE/HER)

The therapeutic journey is a path traveled together. Therapeutic healing happens when we get to show up as our authentic self. In a society with rigid boundaries around needs and bodies, I see Queerness, Ethical Non-Monogamy, and BDSM/Kink as manifestations of radical self-acceptance.

For many people, talk therapy is a daunting and uncomfortable process; with art and somatic therapy modalities, I look to expand my practice to those who may find talk therapy more challenging. Art therapy can delve into need-exploration with a different language, exploring the vital relationship between mind and body. I work to welcome people with diverse backgrounds using curiosity and openness, to encourage them to be their authentic selves in my office.

I’m excited to accommodate and help you explore your neurodiverse needs beyond the medical model. I believe in helping you find creative solutions to the complex problems you face every day.

I will graduate as a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Antioch University at the end of 2024. I have special training in somatic therapy and sex therapy, with a focus on Person Centered and Intersectional Feminist modalities. I am a non- judgmental, sex positive BDSM/Kink friendly counselor with a background in helping people navigate the world with neurodiversity. I utilize my training to assist my clients in bringing emotions and thoughts to the surface which may have otherwise been hidden, and assist people in exploring their identities, gender, sexuality, and neurodiversity.
