Thank you for your interest in joining the Modern Therapy Seattle team.
Modern Therapy Seattle centers growing our team thoughtfully and intentionally, prioritizing support, sustainability, and making sure the clinicians we bring on feel genuinely cared for and confidently full with clients. Because of this, opportunities tend to ebb and flow rather than follow a traditional hiring cycle.
While we’re not accepting formal applications right now, we are welcoming expressions of interest from clinicians and interns who feel aligned with our values and mission. Consider this a low-pressure way to raise your hand and start a conversation. We’ll reach out if the timing and availability align.
Modern Therapy Seattle typically offers full-time roles for fully licensed and associate-licensed clinicians who want to grow within a private practice setting. Our team enjoys paid vacation and sick time, supervision toward licensure and AASECT certification, continuing education opportunities, and a collaborative, engaged, and human-first team culture.
Our practice is made up of talented, diverse humans who share a commitment to providing shame-free, radically accepting care for the Sex Positive community and for those who have been historically (erotically and otherwise) marginalized. This includes (and lovingly celebrates) diverse gender and sexuality identities, as well as a wide range of relationship orientations and structures.
We also welcome expressions of interest from students seeking internship placements that include direct client hours and supervision as part of their degree program. We have current relationships with with Antioch University and Seattle University's Master’s programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Couple & Family Therapy. Students from other institutions are always welcome to reach out.
If our work, culture, and approach resonate with you, we’d love to stay connected.
