As a transfeminine, consensually non-monogamous, queer, and neurodivergent human person, I recognize the pivotal role our identities—and the stories we’ve been told and have absorbed about those identities—play in our experience. We cannot be removed from our context, whether that be our relationships, our bodies, our spiritual beliefs, our communities, our cultural narratives, and our histories. These parts of us are so braided together that exploring some without the others leaves an incomplete picture. Because of this complexity, I use a systemic approach that emphasizes a social justice lens, holistically exploring the ways each level of these systems impact my clients.
Therapeutic work can be challenging. Whether I am working with individuals, families, couples, or moresomes, I aim to cultivate a space where we can collaboratively explore the aspects of self and relationship with curiosity and openness to help achieve your goals.
I believe that relationships create a unique resonance between the people involved, and therefore a “one size fits all” approach can never truly fit the people in front of me. To ensure I meet all parts of a person, my practice uses a dynamic approach that primarily draws from Narrative Therapy, Identity Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Crucible Therapy. By doing so, we can collaboratively find the techniques that fit your experience while building the structures and ways of being that are right for you and your relationships.
Some of the populations I love working with include queer and trans folx, those who identify as neurodivergent, practitioners of consensual non-monogamy, survivors of complex trauma, plurals/systems, and anyone else interested in deeply exploring identity.
